Get Started with the Family Forest Carbon Program

To qualify, landowners must:

• Own 30 acres or more of non-planted, naturally regenerating trees
• Have the legal right to harvest on your land

The Family Forest Carbon Program is currently operational in 12 states: Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
